High and Lifted Up!

Saturday morning at Pilot Mountain State Park, The Sweet Life Fellowship met for it's second gathering. We had a sweet time of praise and worship and fellowship that lasted into the early afternoon. We were blessed with 18 in attendance including some wonderful folks who just happened to be passing by at a God appointed place and time. As we lifted God up with our voices God in His sovereignty lifted us up and showed us how powerful and all knowing He is. Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed the day with us and we look forward to seeing all of our friends and making new friends at the next Sweet Life Fellowship.

God, Crustaceans, and Good Times

Wow...what an awesome night. Last evening was our first Sweet Life Fellowship meeting and did God ever show up or what. We had over twenty folks attend and we shared some great fellowship with each other. It was awesome to watch people who had never spoke or met before strike up conversations that didn't conclude till the restaurant staff basically ran us out by turning off the lights. You know God knows what he is doing. He took "shrimp night" and turned it into His time. He was at work in the back room of Mayflower last night and you could see the beginnings of relationships being formed. For all who attended thanks for coming and for everyone else God bless and we hope to see ya next time at The Sweet Life Fellowship.

Worship At Pilot - May 12th, 10:30am

Just wanted to remind everyone that on May 12th we will have our second gathering. We will be getting together at 10:30am at the Picnic Shelter atop Pilot Mountain. Zack will be leading us in worship and we will pray, fellowship and just enjoy the spring weather together... everyone is encouraged to bring whatever picnic style foods and beverages you like best. There is a grill at the shelter which we can use as well as a water supply. Since this is a big outdoor area, everyone please be extra careful and keep a close eye on children. This looks to be an exciting morning of worship and fellowship. Hope to see everyone there. God bless.

Shrimp Night Tonight!

It's finally here. Tonight is the first gathering of The Sweet Life Fellowship. What more auspacious occasion than "Shrimp Night" could there be to kick off this one of a kind ministry. I dont know really how to describe the excitement I feel as I watch what God is already doing to bring about the ministry of The Sweet Life. To say that he has already moved mountains in the process is an understatement. Angie and I are so honored and humbled to be a part of what God is doing in the Mount Airy community. We look so forward to spending time with The Sweet Life family and getting to know each person involved. But most importantly we look forward to touching our community for Jesus Christ. If any of you are considering joining us tonight at "Shrimp Night" please dont hesitate to come on out. Meet up is at 6:30PM at Mayflower in Mt. Airy. If you have to work late and can't be there at 6:30PM come on out anyway 'cause I'm sure some of us will fellowship until closing.
